Mopping regularly with wood floor cleaner has no real impact on the living bacterium that causes sneezing and other flu symptoms. The only way to stop flu is to use common sense and good hygiene by washing your hands regularly and cleaning up objects that other people could touch. The virus lives in the mucus of the nose, throat, and eyes of the people who are infected. You can get the flu by touching objects or surfaces that have the virus on it and then touching your nose, eye, or mouth. But you can not get the flu if you touch someone who is infected. The virus travels between people on the tiny water droplets from coughs and sneezes. So, you can not get the flu from walking on a wood floor, table, or chair.

This answer is really long, so I want to break it down. I need to know if the same company makes the original Mop and Glow/Mop and Glow 2 in 1 disinfectant, because I'm wondering what happened to the original formula. I used to use it all the time, but then it became hard to find anywhere. The original formula is the only one that disinfects (and does a great job). I love the scent, but I wish it were made with tea tree oil to make it more disinfecting. I used to use it to disinfect everything-even my toothbrushes. It's an excellent antiseptic. I'm also wondering why the original "Mopping Glo" is not called "One Step Cleaner" anymore. Also, I hope Thane doesn't do the same thing to the original "One Step Cleaner" as they did to the original "Mop and Glow." There is no reason to change a product unless there is a problem with it.

Mop and Glo is an all-purpose cleaner used to clean, disinfect and deodorize hardwood floors. It can be used to keep floor looking clean and shiny without leaving behind a sticky residue. It is not only ideal for cleaning hardwood floors but also for cleaning any other type of floor, whether it is vinyl or tile.
