You can try using a scrubber to get it off. You can also try a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water to scrub it right off. If it doesn't come off, you could try a little elbow grease.

My husband has had this problem with his car, too. I found that an old toothbrush works really well. It scrubs the build-up off. We tried it on our bathtub, too. It worked on that, also. This is probably the easiest way to remove the build-up.

This is a long answer. There is no short answer here. I want to make sure people get the whole story and not get any short cuts. There is a lot of hype out there about mop and glo and similar products. Most of these products work but they take the hard way. They may work, but you will waste a lot of your time and effort and you will end up doing a lot of scrubbing.
