The two are very similar, but there are some differences. Bona is a gel-based solution while Mop&Glo is a liquid-based solution. Bona is slightly more expensive than Mop&Glo. Bona is concentrated while Mop&Glo is not. Bona is more easily available than Mop&Glo. Mop&Glo is more water resistant than Bona. Bona is more durable than Mop&Glo.

It is a personal choice. I have not used either so can't comment on the effectiveness of either. My favourite cleaning products are 'Mr Muscle' and 'Bon Ami' both of which I have used for a long time. They do a great job and don't leave a film of residue on the bath, etc. I have used them with great success.

Some people get confused between mop and glo vs bona. Furniture cleaning is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. Just because your friend told you about a great product that does wonders for her living room doesn't mean it will be the best for your furniture. It's good to research beforehand and get a few recommendations, but ultimately trial-and-error will be your best teacher.
